| Details: | The event will be a 45 minute score event; all members are invited. Non members are welcome as we are keen to use this simple format to introduce new people to BADO. Please contact the organiser if you intend to take part. Run, jog or walk to visit as many of the controls as you can in 45 minutes and score ten points per control visited. Around 8k for them all. Lose points for going over time. Starts are from 6.30 to 6.45 and we are using EMIT timing to log your start and finish time. If you do not have an Emit block then please tell the organiser and we will provide one. So bring a pen and EMIT brick if you have one. Compass may be useful but not essential. The Barley Mow have said they would welcome us in for drinks after the event and there will be a mobile fish & chip shop outside where we can buy food and take it into the pub. [Please note that there is no charge for entry to this event and that all members of BADO are covered under British Orienteering insurance for third party risks. For Non-members, this insurance cover only applies for the first three events, thereafter we would ask you to join BADO through the British Orienteering website ] |
