Parking information:Car Parking. We will use the National Trust car park, map reference SO 268167, nearest post code NP7 7LA. Turn off the Abergavenny to Crickhowell road at the vineyard signpost, up past the vineyard (on your right) and keep going to the National Trust car park. This road is very steep in parts.

Description:Terrain and location – The courses will primarily be in the gorgeous old oak wood of St Mary’s Vale, with longer courses venturing onto the open moorland of the Sugar Loaf. There are some steep slopes but courses will be planned to avoid the steepest. Most of the area will be very runnable in April although the braken may be starting to come up on the open areas.The start is located just up the hill from the car park. (40m climb)

Course description:The quoted climb on Blue and green is via the straight line option and can be reduced significantly with appropriate route choice. Blue – technically difficult and long - 6km - 260m climb – 14 controls Green - technically difficult and a bit shorter- 4.4km – 240m climb – 12 controls Orange – includes controls just off paths 2.7km - 9 controls – not much climb Yellow – all on paths 2.4 km – 7 controls – not much climb
