Parking information:From N take B2138 S from Fittleworth, after ½ mile turn right into Coates Lane. After 1½ miles, turn sharp left, car park 200m on left. From S 2m after Bury Hill on A29 turn left onto B2138. After 1½ miles turn left into Coates Lane, then as above. From W take A285 to Heath End, 1 mile N of Duncton. Turn E signed Coates, after Burton Mill Pond, take 2nd right to car park. £1 for parking. Uneven entrance. Nearest postcode RH20 1HQ
Dog rules:Dogs are only allowed on part of the common, as part of the area used is private woodland with no dogs allowed.

Description:Low-key Saturday morning event aimed at local Orienteers and newcomers of all ages, including families. Forms part of the SO spring league (February-May). 4 courses - Blue & Green for experienced Orienteers (approx 6km & 4km), Orange & Yellow for newcomers, families & children (approx 2.5km & 1.5km). Turn up and enter on the day - no pre-booking required.

Course description:Map: 1:7,500 Updated Mike Gammon 2016. Terrain: Common is mainly rough open and will be used by yellow & orange. Green & blue will also use a wooded, more hilly area to the east (NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THIS SECTION).
