Access to the Estate must only be via Blakehurst Lane (accessible from the Eastbound carriageway of the A27). Head north on Blakehurst Lane for 1.5km, then turn right (north-east) at the road/track crossing. There will then be a STRICT 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT along the track due to the many horseriders and ramblers - DUE TO SOME INCONSIDERATE DRIVING LAST YEAR, WE NEARLY LOST PERMISSION TO USE THIS LOVELY AREA - WE ARE UNLIKELY TO BE GIVEN A FURTHER CHANCE IF THERE IS A RECURRANCE
Dog rules:Dogs MUST NOT BE TAKEN ONTO THE COURSES but can be taken on walks on the Angmering Estate tracks. Please keep dogs under control and clear up any mess. Please be aware that there has been a case of AlabamaRot reported in the Patching area. Be sure to wash your dog thoroughly after visiting the Estate.

Courses

Course description:Map Details - Scale 1:10,000. 5 metre contours. Original mapping by Mike Gammon / Roger Maher in 1997 / 99, updated & extended by SUTMAP 2014. Further updates by Mike Gammon Spring 2017. Terrain Description - The competition area is mainly runnable Beech woodland on the gentle lower slopes of the Downs. The area is well known for a wonderful display of Bluebells in Spring. Course info:- Brown: approx. 10km, Blue : approx. 7.1km, Green: approx. 4.7km, Short Green: approx. 3.5km, Orange: approx. 3.1km, Yellow: approx. 2.5 km. These are provisional distances and may change slightly. Start approx. 500m from registration and initial parking area along estate tracks. Finish approx. 200m from registration and initial parking area along estate tracks. Hopefully all cars will be within 1000m - 1250m from the start / finish
