Course description: | in memory of the event's founder, Elizabeth Brown, who passed away in May 2011, this event incorporates the Elizabeth Brown Trophy for the winner (on a handicapped scoring basis), together with a selection of other small prizes for the leading scorer in the following classes on the 60 minute event 1/ open men, 2/ open women, 3/ M50+, 4/ W50+, 5/ first junior male, 6/ first junior female. The first M14- & W14- on the 45 min course will also receive a small prize (prize-giving ASAP after 12.45pm). Stanmer is mixed woodland and open parkland, mainly of good runnability. An extensive network of paths and tracks. |
