| Course description: | Always a popular venue for Orienteering, Chailey Common is a SSSI / national nature reserve, the southern part of which (Memorial Common, Pound Common & Romany Ridge) is generally low lying and tends to be wet / muddy in the winter months. Much of the area is open heathland with areas of gorse and birchwoods.
