As the Blue School has a leavers’ party on the evening of our event, we have been asked not to use the main car park, but to proceed to the basketball courts further inside the premises. So once you’ve turned right off Kennion Road into the main car park, follow the O-signs downhill and then to the left. Please drive slowly as it may be busy with students being dropped off.
Dog rules:Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in the school grounds.

Description:Part of BOK's Urban Orienteering Series, held most Wednesday evenings from Spring to early Summer. Short, Medium and Long courses offered at each event. Best 7 results on each course score for league trophies, with separate male and female competitions. Map: • 1:4,000 scale with 5m contours • Drawn by Trevor Crowe with update and westerly extension 2022 • Waterproof A3 size with courses overprinted • Loose control descriptions also available Newcomers are advised to familiarise themselves with uncrossable features and out of bounds symbols (if in doubt ask at the registration desk). Terrain: School grounds, urban footpaths and residential streets. Road shoes and shorts suitable.

Courses

Course description:Juniors (under 16) can run unaccompanied on the Short course, which will be entirely off-road, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the Medium or Long courses due to road crossings. The Short and Medium courses are suitable for adult beginners. Help and advice available on the day.
