The National Office joins in with World Orienteering Day!

The British Orienteering National Office made the most of the glorious World Orienteering Day weather and ran a fun Xplorer event around the grounds of the Head Office at Scholes Mill in Tansley, near Matlock in their lunch hour today.

Natalie Weir and Tim Herod from the Development Team set up the course and enjoyed doing their utmost to get as many people from around the industrial estate to come out on their lunchbreak and give orienteering a go.

A Careport employee who came and had a go, said: “I didn’t think that I would enjoy orienteering as much as I have today.  It was nice to get out of the office for a while.  I would definitely take part again.”
