The JK 2018 has arrived!

The West Midlands Orienteering Association is looking forward to welcoming competitors from across the UK and around the world to the 51st Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering today. 

Thousands of orienteers are set to navigate their way to the West Midlands to compete at the 2018 Jan Kjellstrom (JK) Festival of Orienteering this Easter weekend. 

There are four days of great orienteering ahead of you on areas separated by a maximum of 15 miles!

Day 1: Friday 30th March – Sprint – MoD Stafford
Hosted by Walton Chasers Orienteering Club (WCH) and Royal Signals Orienteering Club (RSOC). 

Day 2:  Saturday 31st March – Middle – Brereton Spurs
Hosted by Octavian Droobers (OD). 

Day 3: Sunday 1st April – Long – Beaudesert
Hosted by Potteries Orienteering Club (POTOC) and Wrekin Orienteers (WRE). 

Day 4: Monday 2nd April – Relays – Beaudesert
Hosted by Harlequins Orienteering Club (HOC) and City of Birmingham Orienteering Club (COBOC). 

Trail-O will also be available in close proximity to the arenas of Day 1 (Temp-O) and Day 3 (Pre-O). Please find some time to partake in both disciplines.
 

Please note:  Races 7 (The JK 2018 - Sprint), 8 (The JK 2018 - Middle distance) and 9 (The JK 2018 - Long distance) forms part of the 2018 UK Orienteering League season this weekend.
