Congratulations on your selection to compete for GBR at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships.

Who was the first person you told the news to about being selected for the World orienteering Championships?
CW:  "My parents."

What made you choose orienteering over any of the other available sports?
CW:  "The combination of the mental, physical and technical challenge."

Where is your favourite place to orienteer?
CW:  "At home in the Lake District."

What is your favourite training session?
CW:  "Orienteering intervals - Short 5-10min sections of orienteering with a short break between each one."

How are you preparing for the World Championships in August?
CW:  "I spent 2 weeks training in Latvia at the beginning of July and I am now completing my final few weeks of preparation at home."

Who or what will be your biggest threat?
CW:  "To have my best performance I just have to focus on what I control and do my best so getting distracted from that wouldn’t be good."

Thank you, Charlotte. Congratulations again on being selected to compete in the World Orienteering Championships.

We wish you all the best with the rest of your preparation!
