Following fast on the heels of the first successful webinar on planning, the second in the programme is primed and ready to go. Taking place on Thursday 14th March at 7 pm this is titled Communication, Social media v traditional methods.

The webinar will be discussing social media and traditional methods of promoting club events. The session starts with an important look at creating the right marketing strategy in order to ensure you can be targeted in who you are approaching and advertising too, coupled with what you wish to achieve as a club. It will then move onto the varying different communications methods and successful examples from clubs including from Thames Valley Orienteering Club.

Promoting club events

The session is for everyone who is looking to help promote their club events. Whether you’re new to this area or have been leading on this before, it’ll be great to hear your views and options throughout the evening.
