Presenter Steve Bailey on BBC Radio York told Jennie Taylor, British Orienteering's Communications Officer:  ‘’It was fascinating to find out more about orienteering from Steve Whitehead, in an age when arguably it’s more important than ever to get out and be active; orienteering clearly provides benefits on so many levels, from the physical benefits to building confidence and self-esteem and giving people a taste of our great outdoors’’.

British Orienteering would like to thank Steve Whitehead (Eborienteers) for taking time out of his day to promote orienteering live on radio.
