This weekend Tio Mila, one of the major Scandinavian relays, takes place in Skåne, Southern Sweden.  Approximately 1,000 teams participate in the Open, Women’s and Junior classes.

The Women’s and Youth races start on Saturday and are run in daylight.  The Open class, with 10 legs per team, starts at on Saturday at 8.30pm, runs through the night and finishes the next morning.

Although many team declarations are finalised shortly before the race, several GB Elites are expected to run for Scandinavian teams, including Graham Gristwood, Megan Carter-Davies, Jonny Crickmore, Peter Hodkinson, Charlotte Watson and Alistair McLeod.

Following their win at the Peter Palmer Relays in 2018, West Cumberland Orienteering Club has been invited by the Tio Mila organisers to send a junior team.  The club is out in force for the weekend, sending one Open team in the main relay and two junior teams!

The races can be followed live on Web TV via the event website 10mila.se/index.php/en
