World Orienteering Championships Selection Races - Start Today!

The World Orienteering Championships Selection Races are being organised by Halden SK in Østfold. 

Today sees the Long distance taking place (5 July 2019) at 14:30.

The WOC Selection Race 2019 with the Middle distance race taking place on Sunday 7 July 2019 at 10:00.

There will be GPS tracking after the last runner starts.

WOC is in South-East Norway in mid-August and the test races are also, in similar terrain and with offset printed maps.

There are over 250 entries each day with countries split between parallel D21 and H21 races.

23 British athletes have entered one or both of the test races.  

British Orienteering would like to take this opportunity to wish all the British elite athletes who are competing in the Long distance today and in the Middle distance race on Sunday good luck and all the best with your performances at this competition.
