Webinars hit 1000 views

Webinars break through the 1000 views barrier after recent Purple Pen webinar.

Following last Tuesday nights live session on Purple Pen, British Orienteering’s webinar programme continues to grow in viewers reaching more members and playing a crucial role in providing training, advice and support across many areas of the sport.

The current viewing number is now over 1100 and covers those watching live, the recording through GoToWebinar and across British Orienteering’s YouTube channel.

Commenting on the programme, Development Officer Peter Brooke, said:
"It’s really pleasing to see the positive reception all the sessions have received as the viewing numbers continue to grow. I’d like to thank all the volunteers and staff who have presented, for their time and hard work in sharing their personal and club’s experiences. Their knowledge is invaluable and will play a key role in supporting new volunteers within clubs.”

“The sessions have ranged from planning and communications to youth and coaching. There is something for everyone which provides the ideal opportunity for anyone interested in taking on a club role to learn more in their own time, in the comfort of their own home.”

Webinars break through the 1000 views barrier.
