Today is the Middle Distance race at the World Orienteering Champs

Today we will find who will win the Middle distance Final for men and women.

The arena will be at Mørk, about 30 minutes from Moss and 40 minutes from Sarpsborg. The terrain is undulating and detailed, with relatively small height differences in the eastern part and some higher hills in the western part. Total height differences about 60 m. Mostly good runnability and medium visibility. In some parts the ground is covered with relatively high heather. Pine forest on the hill tops and spruce or mixed vegetation on the lower parts.

The women's races are due to start at 13:30 - 15:15, last finish 15:50.

The men's races are due to start 15.45 - 17:35, last finish at 18:00.

Other races due to take place this morning are the Spectator Race Middle distance starting at 11:00 - 13:30 and the Norgescup Junior Long Distance at 11:00 - 12:00.

The Prize-giving Ceremony and Cultural Programme will take place at 19:30 in Sarpsborg town square tonight.
