Senior Squad Manager Ed Nicholas Stepping Down

Senior Squad Manager Ed Nicholas has announced that he is stepping down from the position with immediate effect.

Ed is stepping down in order to enable him to focus more on his own work life alongside studying part time for a masters degree, running and life with friends and family. British Orienteering would like to thank Ed for his unwavering committment to the performance programme over the past 9 years where he has increasingly taken on more and more responsibility.

Craig Anthony, Head of Development said: "Ed has been a tremendous asset to the British Orienteering performance programme, committing huge amounts of time to support athletes and volunteers. British Orienteering is very lucky to have such dedicated volunteers and Ed will be sorely missed."

"On a personal note I'm very grateful for all the support Ed provided me whilst I gained an understanding of the programme since Jackie Newton left in 2016 and I wish him all the best in the future."

For any queries regarding the performance programme please contact Peter Hart, phart@britishorienteering.org.uk.

More information on positions to work with the performance programme will be announced in due course.

Thank You Ed
