#JKMemories : "I fondly recall the JK 2007 at which I planned the Sprint."

By Alan Honey member of Bristol Orienteering Klub.

"I fondly recall the 2007 JK at which I planned the Sprint around the University of the West of England. A Sprint had been trialled at the previous year’s JK at Guildford University, but I think 2007 was the first year that it was formally included in the JK programme. I had never planned a Sprint. I’m not sure I had even taken part in one, but nobody seemed to mind as the format was so new. Luckily I had a good Controller, Simon Errington, who had already managed to amass significant Sprint experience. I particularly liked the route choice from 12-13".
