England Development Manager Peter Brooke, said:

“I’d like to congratulate Edinburgh University on their award. They have shown that they are always looking to provide a great experience for their new and existing members with a variety of training and orienteering opportunities available.”

“I’m sure the many trips they organise, including a recent trip to Oringen in Sweden gave their members a great taste of what orienteering is like in the international environment.”

“British Orienteering certainly appreciates and recognises all of the commitment, time and effort that goes into our sport from all our volunteers in clubs across the country. Especially in the current environment. It’s been pleasing to hear the positive comments and plans clubs have to get back out in the forests and parks once restrictions are lifted.”
