Changes to the embargo rules for the (now 2024) Edinburgh WOC

The International Orienteering Federation (IOF) have reset the embargo for Edinburgh from now, July 2020.

This means that any knowledge gained previously will no longer be considered relevant.

For instance, people who were attending university/school/work in Edinburgh and had declared themselves non-competitive (or would have had to do so), can now be eligible provided they respect the embargo from here onwards.

There is now one set of restrictions which apply from now until the Sprint World Orienteering Championships (WOC) in Denmark in 2022, and then a tighter set of restrictions which will apply from WOC 2022 onwards.

You can find the full revised embargo rules here.
