Over the August Bank Holiday weekend Lakeland Orienteering Club (LOC) and West Cumberland Orienteering Club (WCOC) hosted a series of junior races.

Friday evening (28 August) saw the Sprint around Windemere with a mix of urban and forest sections.

Saturday (29 August) moved to the Graythwaite Estate for the Long races where the juniors were able to sample a “proper” long leg of between 1.5-2km depending on their ages.

Sunday (30 August) revisited Graythwaite for the Middle race day. There were some intricate legs across the Green slope to start finishing through the White woodland section.
