Pendle Forest Orienteers Delivered A Successful School Project

To encourage a move into the sport, Pendle Forest Orienteers (PFO) joined with Rossendale School Sports Partnership to provide an online Orienteering competition available to all school children in Rossendale.

Juniors across the world battled it out in a series of virtual challenges.

Lockdown Orienteering Junior Weekend saw juniors from across the globe enjoy a series of virtual challenges testing skills like routechoice, map memory and contour interpretation.

Congratulations to all the juniors who took part, especially the winners Joe Sunley (WCOC), Heather Wimberley (RACO), Rune De Clerq (TROL), Kirtsen Robertson (CLYDE), Robbie Lightfoot (SYO), Anna Todd (SYO), Hannah Hateley (DEE), Naomi Thornton (SYO) and Finlay McLuckie (MOR).
