The Orienteering Foundation supported the WOC athletes by raising a record amount

The Orienteering Foundation is a Registered Charity set up independently from British Orienteering. It is run currently by 5 trustees.

Neil Cameron, Chair of The Orienteering Foundation, says:

“Thanks to generous donors, The Orienteering Foundation was able to distribute in excess of £10,000 to GBR athletes to help them meet their costs of preparing for and attending this year’s World Orienteering Championships which took place in Estonia. This was the first such project-specific fund-raising undertaken by the Foundation. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Your support made a real difference to the athletes.”
