The Young Volunteer of the Year Award is dedicated to individuals under the age of 25, who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting the delivery of orienteering activity with passion, energy, and enthusiasm.
It is fair to say that the World Orienteering Championships 2024 would not have been the success it was without them.
Beyond this, all three were also majorly involved with Sprint Scotland, the WOC test races, and Big Weekend as planners and organisers. This further underlines their exceptional commitment to volunteering in orienteering and justifies why all three are suitable candidates for the award.
