In the Women's race, Emily Atkinson finished 10th in the W18, and in the W16, Ella Baxter finished 43rd closely followed by Lucy Ward in 44th.
Emily Atkinson W18 said:
"My race was really good, very clean with no mistakes. The terrain was pretty steep but mostly runnable. My tactic was to keep it simple, use the path and then cut in from a safe attackpoint."
Oliver Duncan M16:
"I had a decent run but not yet got the speed to match the top runners. It's good motivation to work hard for next year"
Finn Selmer Duguid M18:
"Felt a bit nervous before the race and I was a bit scrappy in the control circle. The white was nice running and I had good pace on the hills. I wanted to get good routes on the long legs, keep disciplined, keep my head and focus on the nav, I think I managed that today."

Lucy Ward W16 said:
"Pleased with my top 20 at EYOC as a first year. It was very hot and I struggled with the heat, ice cloths from Judy before the start helped! The course was mostly downhill which was fun."
Lyra Medlock W18:
"The race was fun. The first section had short legs and quick decisions keeping you busy and I was not able to plan ahead much for the long leg. I thought I picked the wrong route for it so ran hard. I made a small mistake in the control circle and then was careful to the finish to not be caught out by the barriers. Delighted with my result!"
Tommy M18
"Some mixed feelings about the race, there was one decisive routechoice and that was the one I got wrong! Everything else was good. Top tip for the relay - Czech your codes"
