South London Orienteers invite you to take on a unique urban orienteering challenge in Rotherhithe as part of the London City Race Weekend, one of the UK's most iconic urban racing events.
This year's event, taking place on Saturday 20th September, is set in the fascinating terrain of Rotherhithe – a blend of riverside estates, interconnected courtyards, and historic docklands.
Far from a simple grid layout, Rotherhithe is a rich patchwork of housing developments, old industrial architecture, and a surprising number of linked estates and pedestrian cut-throughs.
Whether you're a seasoned city sprinter or looking for your first taste of urban orienteering, the London City Race Weekend is not to be missed. Secure your place early – the race regularly attracts hundreds of competitors from across the UK and Europe.
This event forms part of both the City Race Euro Tour (CRET) and the London City Race Weekend, featuring multiple races across London over three days with supporting events from Dartford Orienteers and London Orienteering Klub. Expect international competition, top-quality mapping, and a chance to see London from a new angle – street by street, cut-through by cut-through.
