The Junior European Cup Orienteering kicked off on Friday 3 October with a stellar beginning for Team GB!
Sprint
Day 1 saw competitors battling strong weather conditions. Nevertheless, Team GB powered on and the grit and determination paid off!
GB's Emily Atkinson was crowned W18 Sprint Champion. Finn Selmer Duguid came 4th in the M18, also earning himself a podium place.
In the M20, James Hammond was the highest finisher for Team GB coming in 13th place. Emily Gibbins came in 12th in the W20 race.
Long
In the M20 race, James Hammond finished in 4th place in today's Long Race, and Finn Selmer Duguid in 7th place in the M18 race.
Emily Atkinson concluded in 11th place in W18 and Daisy McNamara finished 12th in the W20 place.

Relay
The final day of JEC 2025 saw Team GB take to the podium once again with a 4th place for the boys and the girls finishing 6th nation.
