These partners play an important role in ensuring that orienteering is delivered in a quality-assured, safe and engaging way, helping young people to understand, enjoy and develop confidence in the sport.
In 2025, Recognised Delivery Partners reached almost 2,000 schools nationwide, supporting delivery through both teacher and staff CPD training and direct access for pupils to take part in structured orienteering activities. This impact demonstrates the strength of partnership working in expanding the reach of orienteering and improving the confidence and capacity of the education workforce.
A key feature of the programme in 2026 will be a dedicated webinar delivered by the Recognised Delivery Partners as part of the BOF Development Conference. The session will highlight successes from the past year, showcase delivery models in schools, and explore how local orienteering clubs can collaborate to offer young people clear pathways to stay involved in the sport beyond the school environment.
British Orienteering would like to thank all Recognised Delivery Partners for their contribution to supporting the next generation of orienteers across the UK.
