Following changes adopted by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF), for the first time, there will be a Junior class at the European TrailO Championships, to be held in Poland in early August; up to six British Juniors (20-years-old or younger) can be in the team.
The next TrailO event here in the UK is being staged alongside the forthcoming British Long Distance Championships (BOC) in Wales on the 28th February. This event is a big opportunity for Juniors to demonstrate their ability and potential, and their interest in being selected for the team. The selectors for the British team would be delighted to see a big entry from Juniors.
The event is using the Craig-y-nos Country Park just 1km from the BOC with start times on the Saturday afternoon allowing competitors in the BOC to tackle the TrailO course after their BOC run. Entries are of course welcome from competitors of any age! Full details about the event can be seen on the TrailO section of the BOC website.
