Edinburgh University won both elite titles at the Jan Kjellstrom International Festival relays, as the four day event in Highland Scotland came to a close.
It's the first time in Edinburgh's 62 year history that they've held both titles simultaneously, and also the first occasion since 2016 that a single club, in that case FVO, has had both champion teams.
Although Men's silver medallists Interlopers had two of the three quickest leg times, James Hammond, Charlie Rennie and Euan Tryner captured the big prize for the students in 92.15, with INT a close 2nd (92.49) and OD once again had a good relay day as they were 3rd (93.19).
The lead was more pronounced in the Women's Trophy, where Immy Pieters opened up a three second lead for EUOC on surprise package INT II on the first leg (30.08) but as INT fell off the pace, the students ran on, and were brought home by Emma Crawford and Isobel Howard, in 90.20. AROS got up late for the silver medal (92.29) to add to their earlier British Relays success, and SYO was 3rd (95.13).
The Short course titles were won by LOC (78.21) in the Men's class, and near neighbours WCOC (69.23) in the women's division. The Senior (120+) men's race was won by INT, in 106.08, as they made up six minutes on the closing leg, and the Senior women's crown is in the hands of SYO (104.47).
Amongst the older competitors, SROC won Veteran (165+) men in a chase for the line, and BL were never headed as they captured the Veteran women prize; the UltraVet race featured two BOK teams at the front, with the winners just 11 seconds up (84.44).
The Intermediate men competition saw a LOC/WCOC combination top the table (56.46) and INVOC won the Intermediate women's battle in 60.29. The Junior relay was won by SYO (35.02) and the Sheffield club also won the Mini relay (38.57). And last but by no means least, the Mixed Ad-Hoc race went to Irish visitors KerryO (63.40).
The trophies were presented by the Provost of Perth & Kinross, Councillor Xander McDade, who also handed over the Athlete of the Championship awards to Jon Duncan (Sandnes IL) and Hannah Inman (FVO).
