Day 1 of the World Orienteering Championships saw the Sprint Qualification take place in the morning, followed by the Sprint Final in the afternoon. Here are the results.
WOC 2026: Sprint Qualification Results
The following GB athletes qualified for the Sprint Final today:
- Nathan Lawson
- Grace Molloy
- Eddie Narbett
- Cecilie Andersen
- Peter Molloy

Grace Molloy secured a top 20 place in the Sprint Final, concluding her race in 19th place. In the Men's Sprint Final, it was Eddie Narbett who finished top for Team GB in 27th place.
