    • Frank planned the WOC 2024 Sprint Qualifier and Final.
    • Joe Hudd planned the WOC 2024 Knockout Sprint Qualifier.
    • Frank Townley & Joe Hudd were heavily involved in everything course-related for the races, including putting out controls and barriers and managing over 100 marshalls.
    • Joe Sunley was heavily involved with the IT and TV at WOC2024. He designed radio controls and cable layouts for the MSR, provided website management, pre-event filming, and helped on the event day with the management of marshalls.

It is fair to say that the World Orienteering Championships 2024 would not have been the success it was without them.

Beyond this, all three were also majorly involved with Sprint Scotland, the WOC test races, and Big Weekend as planners and organisers. This further underlines their exceptional commitment to volunteering in orienteering and justifies why all three are suitable candidates for the award.
