Major Events Conference - Session 1
Tuesday 21 October 2025, 7-9pm
This session will feature a range of presentations, with an overview of 2025, leading into 2026, and cover the following topics:
- Review of 2025 Major Events; what has gone well and lessons to learn for the future
- Revisions to the 2026 Competitions Rules; from your feedback from Major Events this year
- The Future of Major Events
- Revisions to the 2026 Rules
Major Events Conference - Session 2
Tuesday 28 October 2025, 7-9pm
This session will build on from the first, covering some more technical topics, with the following presentations:
- Sprint Planning, particularly for multi-level areas
- Safety Update: heat/humidity, and urban/sprint events
- Major Events Course Planning from an Elite’s Perspective
- Best practice document, and the re-establishment of the Event Officials Group
- Any other items, and questions from attendees
