It was another scorching day in the swiss city of Locarno for the mixed Sprint Relay today.
The Piazza grande provided a fabulous race arena. There was a fantastic atmosphere with hundreds of spectators lining the streets.
Racing was fast and furious through the modern part of the city followed by a tricky end loop in the narrow tangled alleys of the old town.
There were some great individual performances from the team but unfortunately no podium this time, with GBR1 finishing 12th nation.
Imogen Pieters said: "[A] super fast and fun course, was pretty hectic on first leg as navigation easier than yesterday so you couldn’t get away with any small mistakes. Great experience though always!"
