British Orienteering announces date for Annual General Meeting 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 29th June 2026 at 18:30.

This meeting will take place online only this year to ensure it is accessible to as many members as possible and to encourage broader participation, regardless of location or other commitments. While the virtual format provides a convenient and inclusive platform for attendees to engage in the proceedings, voting will be possible for those attending online or by proxy submitted in advance.

The meeting will take place via Teams with invite links sent out to all eligible members in due course.

Any resolutions and other items for inclusion on the agenda must be received by the Chief Executive - pbrooke@britishorienteering.org.uk by 17:00, Sunday, 10th May 2026. 

Further details of the business of the AGM, including the Agenda, and Voting by Proxy form, will be distributed to members on or before Friday 5th June 2025. 

Director vacancy

After serving two terms as a Director, Duncan Birtwistle has decided to step down. We extend our sincere thanks for his six years of valuable service and contribution to the Board and orienteering.

Nominations for directors must be received by 17:00 on Sunday 10^th May.
