Club & Association Affiliations are open!

To affiliate your Club, please log in to your account and navigate down the 'My account menu' to 'Club Affiliation' or 'Association Affiliation' and fill in the online form.

Key Dates and Requirements

• Affiliations will open on 1st October 2026 and must be completed by 23^rd October 2026, ready for the upcoming 2027 affiliation year.
• The affiliation form must be completed by the Club/Association Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer.
• To affiliate your club or association, you must have the following four officers:
• Club Chair
• Club Secretary
• Club Treasurer
• Safeguarding Officer
• The Safeguarding Officer can also hold one of the other officer roles.
• You will also notice the new addition of a Club Safety Officer. This individual is someone who can receive any safety updates from British Orienteering, as they can sometimes be missed. 
  This is not a formal officer role, but we require this information as part of the affiliation process. As with the Safeguarding Officer, the Club Safety Officer can also hold another role within the club.
• If your AGM takes place after the affiliation deadline, please ensure that your club/association fees are up to date in line with the affiliation form and that the most recent AGM minutes are uploaded to the form.
• Please ensure that the Club/Association fees entered on the affiliation form are correct for your club. Any changes made after 1^st November may result in incorrect membership fees being charged. British Orienteering will be unable to compensate for any incorrect fees resulting from changes made after this date.
• Please remember that all club officials must be current British Orienteering members, as well as members of the club or association, to qualify for an official role.
• If any officer roles have changed, please contact us so that we can update our records before 1st October 2026.

Club Affiliation Fees 2027

Following the AGM on 30th June 2026, the affiliation fees are now:

• £120.00 for Clubs
• £25.00 for University Clubs

Make a bank transfer

Check your email for details on how to transfer the money to our account.

Please use your club’s name and “affiliation” as the payment reference.

Or, pay by Cheque
