Deciduous woodland and open areas surrounding the lake. The ground rises to the north of the lake, but no extended steep climbs.
Paths vary from pushchair friendly to informal woodland paths.
During Covid-19 restrictions, some paths in the park are one way and others bi-directional. The attached pack has an additional map to show this. Recommended courses have temporarily been withdrawn and you are invited to make up your own course respecting the path direction.
