Woodland Park with a good path network and some more challenging control sites.
The area is actively managed by volunteers and more fences will be removed shortly.
Alternative Start at Moira Furnace but is more difficult as the path network is more complex.
The area is regularly used for Schools Orienteering competitions including the NW Primary Schools Championship.
Safety: There is a canal to the East with a wide path and one stream which can be difficult to cross.
Groups: You should seek permission from the County Council Ranger, who will advise you of any possible clash with your plans.
