Formal parkland with the option of extending onto part of the Town Moor (rough pasture with the option of longer route choices on paths/tracks)
Safety: The Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne are entitled to graze cattle on the moor. Do not run up to cattle or through groups of cattle on the moor – you may appear threatening or cause them harm by stampeding them which could hurt other users of the moor. Similarly, try not to get encircled by cattle. Cattle are mostly just curious but beware. Respect other moor and park users and allow them (particularly children) space when competing. Be aware of cyclists. Please keep off planted areas.
Note: Controls 11 and 27 are presently not accessible in this order because of one way distancing marking and should be omitted.
