Unique human landform sculpture of a reclining lady. Made of 1.5 million tonnes of rock, clay and soil, she is 100 feet high and a quarter of a mile long.
Use postcode with care as it also refers to the opencast mine! Satnav beware. Refer to OS or Google map before travel (Northumberlandia Car Park, Blagdon Ln, Cramlington). Follow brown signs.
The approach from the car park and the perimeter track is suitable for wheelchairs. An able-bodied companion will have to read the markers. When no staff are available, access is with a RADAR key. You are advised to consult the Northumberlandia website.
