Poole Park is an interesting, flat park laid out around a very large lake and some attractive duck ponds.
Good wheelchair access.
Courses of 1.0, 2.1 & 3.1km are available. All are of easy (White/Yellow) standard.
Poole Park is being radically changed at present as a result of a National Heritage Lottery Fund grant. The map is currently being modified and is NOT up to date.
Other Things to do in the Area
'The Arc' café (& toilets) with children's adventure playground. More toilets at the east end of the park.
Mezza Luna restaurant overlooking the lake with swans & ducks.
Trips on narrow gauge railway, Model boating lake, crazy golf, boules, bowling, tennis.
Free parking but gets very busy at weekends and in the summer holidays.
