St Audries

All courses are run at your own risk. Please note that forestry work may alter the scenery and even remove control points.

The easy courses are roughly TD2 or Yellow standard, which means they can all be completed by following paths and other obvious linear features and that all controls are at obvious features.

The hard courses are roughly TD4/5 or Light Green/Green/Blue standard, which means they will need some navigation away from obvious linear features and that controls will often be minor features. Be aware that during the summer, bracken will be high in many areas of the hard courses, making them very difficult to run.

Here, the Long Easy makes for a tough training route for trail runners due to the amount of ascent. It can also be done as a family walk in a couple of hours if everyone is reasonably fit.

A set of virtual courses using the MapRun app. This can be downloaded from your AppStore (links are here).

Instructions on how to download the course and the PIN to access it are printed on each map. It is well worth printing the map rather than going by the phone screen as the latter can have slight variances in the placement of controls. A guide to printing is here.
