Equality & Inclusion

Environment

The policy for reducing the impact of orienteering on the environment. This policy incorporates the Environmental Policy of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).

 

Ethical Communications

The frameworks for British Orienteering to communicate ethically with people both internally and externally of the organisation.

 

Privacy

A policy covering the privacy of members and the protection of data held about members.

International Selection Policy

 

Anti-doping

The guidelines and framework for Anti-Doping within British Orienteering.  The procedures include how to deal with doping offences, testing, disciplinary procedure, disqualification and appeals.

Reports

 

Annual Reports

An Annual Report is produced each year and is distributed to all members. Included is a Chief Executive’s report, Chairman’s report, reports on major work areas such as, membership and participation statistics, finance and funding, development and international events.

Auditors Annual Reports

Reports from the independent auditors are produced on an annual basis and form the Annual Accounts and Abbreviated Annual Accounts.

 

Governance Workgroup  

A workgroup considered, during 2007, the way in which British Orienteering was governed. These considerations were taken to the EGM in October 2007.

 

Internal Communications Report

An Executive Summary of the Communications Report for British Orienteering and its employees, officers, regional representatives, club officers and individual orienteers.

Membership

An analysis of British Orienteering membership figures has been produced by David Nevell to whom British Orienteering is most grateful.
