| Dog rules: | Dogs, under the control of an adult, are permitted on leads but any mess must be cleaned up and are not recommended on courses due to high traffic of runners and vehicles. |
Details
| Description: | Part of BOK's Urban Series, held most Wednesday evenings from late April to early July. Short, Medium and Long courses available. Best 6 results on each course score for series prizes, with separate male and female competitions. Unless the event details specify otherwise, Under-16s may not compete in Urban Series events unless closely accompanied (not just shadowed) by a responsible adult. A mixture of residential roads, paths, and the university campus. Grassy slopes may be slippery if it has been raining. Road shoes and running shorts are suitable. |

Courses
| Course description: | Short, Medium and Long courses available. Map: Long and Medium, 1:4,000 scale with 5m contours size A3. Short 1:4,000 scale with 5m contours size A4. Halls updated in 2023. Waterproof with courses overprinted. Loose control descriptions will also be available. Runners must not enter any of the residential buildings except for marked underpasses. Newcomers are advised to familiarise themselves with uncrossable features and out of bounds symbols. (Ask registration or help marshals) . Long and Medium courses cross some busy roads. They are planned so that these can and should be crossed at safe crossing points. Beware of fast-moving cyclists on cycle paths and be respectful to other pedestrians, particularly in the university halls. |
