Location

Venue:Barnard Castle Centre
Nearest town:Barnard Castle
Event centre:Bowes Museum
Postcode:DL12 9RH
Grid reference:NZ055161
Parking information:Parking and Registration will be in the grounds of The Bowes Museum. The entrance to The Bowes Museum is at NZ 055161. If travelling from Darlington, please note that the A67 is closed (due to a landslip) at High Coniscliffe, and the resulting diversions will add about 10 minutes to your journey time. If coming this way, on arriving in Barnard Castle take the first exit from the mini roundabout near the petrol station and follow this road through the centre of Barnard Castle, past the cobbled market place, until you reach the round stone Market Cross. Turn left here into Newgate and the museum is about 400m along this road on your left. An alternative is to travel via the A66. If coming this way, turn off the A66 11 miles west of Scotch Corner, just west of Greta Bridge, where signs will indicate a turn northwards towards Barnard Castle. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles, cross the River Tees via Abbey Bridge and continue towards Barnard Castle. As you approach Barnard Castle, signs will indicate The Bowes Museum on the right hand side of the road.
Dog rules:Well behaved dogs are welcome in the car park / Registration area but not out on the courses please
