| Parking information: | The event will be signposted from Redgates corner on the B1416 Ruswarp to Scarborough road at grid reference NZ 892046. Take great care if approaching the red gates from the north. Give way to oncoming traffic coming around the corner. Parking will be on the edge of a track in a field south of May Beck farm at grid reference NZ 896028. A £1 per car charge will go to the farmer. Assembly will be in the same field. |

| Description: | Terrain: Heather moorland. Variable running with some mown and burnt strips of heather. Courses are designed to avoid the bogs that are of special environmental interest. Due to the open moorland, WHISTLES WILL BE REQUIRED whilst participating in this event. Also, cagoules may be made compulsory in the case of bad weather. If so, a notice will be displayed in the Assembly area Map: 1:10,000 scale. A4 size. Courses will be overprinted on the maps, which will be printed on waterproof paper |
