Parking information:Boltby Forest is situated in the south-west corner of the North Yorks Moors to the north-east of Thirsk. The route to the event will be signed from the A19 at Knayton and from the A170 half a mile east of Thirsk. Enter the forest from the Boltby to Sneck Yate road at grid reference SE 502871 and follow the tapes. Parking will be on forest roads.
Dog rules:Well behaved dogs are welcome in the car park and the Assembly Area, but not out on the courses and definitely not on the moorland

Description:Terrain: Typical North Yorks forest, plus open moorland enclosed by stone walls In the assembly area there will be: A "welcome" tent, where help and advice will be available for novices and newcomers to orienteering. Registration / download. Toilet. Hot soup and cakes (sold by NEJS). First aid. Map: 1:10,000 scale. Printed on waterproof paper Note: If you are going to bring a group of competitors to this event then please contact the Organiser in advance so that we can arrange to print sufficient maps
