| Parking information: | Boltby Forest is situated in the south-west corner of the North Yorks Moors to the north-east of Thirsk. The route to the event will be signed from the A19 at Knayton and from the A170 half a mile east of Thirsk. Enter the forest from the Boltby to Sneck Yate road at grid reference SE 502871 and follow the tapes. Parking will be on forest roads. |
| Dog rules: | Well behaved dogs are welcome in the car park and the Assembly Area, but not out on the courses and definitely not on the moorland |

| Description: | Terrain: Typical North Yorks forest, plus open moorland enclosed by stone walls In the assembly area there will be: A "welcome" tent, where help and advice will be available for novices and newcomers to orienteering. Registration / download. Toilet. Hot soup and cakes (sold by NEJS). First aid. Map: 1:10,000 scale. Printed on waterproof paper Note: If you are going to bring a group of competitors to this event then please contact the Organiser in advance so that we can arrange to print sufficient maps |
