Details
| Description: | There is a lot of blue on the map with the River Trent, a 2km Regatta lake, a water ski lagoon and canoe slalom and other assorted ponds. These features are quite a constraint on the ability to provide reasonable courses. The terrain is largely open grassland with some wooded areas - with some recent thinning. There is a nature reserve on the map and this is overprinted as out of bounds. Permission to use sought in 2007 from Notts Wildlife Trust - but declined. Introductory and Medium can be run in shorts. For the technical courses full leg covering is recommended, unless you don't mind running through patches of nettles. |
