Dog rules:Dogs on leads are welcome at this event, both in the car park and in the competiton area, but dogs are not allowed in the Forum building

Description:Map: 1:5000 A3 size Original map in 2009 by Karen Poole and Paul Thornton, with updates and extensions in 2014 by Peter Roberts and Karen Poole providing an area new to orienteering. The courses will be overprinted on the maps, which will be printed on waterproof paper. **************************************************************************************************************** Please make sure that you download even if you do not complete your course. Lone drivers: Please leave your labelled car keys at Registration as a safety check. CLOK recommends that you carry a whistle whilst participating in this (and every) orienteering event. Please remember that competitors take part at their own risk. Orienteering is an adventure sport – your safety while orienteering is your own responsibility. Thank you to the Northallerton Forum for providing parking and an indoor Registration area.

Course description:A Open Male ~8 km B Open Female ~6.5 km C Male Vet ~5 km D Female Vet ~3.5 km E Juniors ~2.5 km Equivalent to Yellow / Orange F Juniors ~1.5 km Equivalent to White / Yellow Juniors under 16 years of age on the day of the event will be restricted to courses E and F, which have some minor road crossings and two marshalled crossings
