Parking information:Birk Brow is at the top of the steep bank on the A171 south east of Guisborough at grid reference NZ 658149. Click on the link to see a map. You can also get directions by putting your starting location into box A and clicking on Get Directions. Park in the public car park. Registration, start and finish are all close to the car park. Low Moor and the registration area are exposed so please dress for the prevailing weather.

Details

Description:The area has two distinct parts, separated by quiet road. Low Moor is a sloping area of heather moorland with patches of gorse and a pocket of old quarry workings. Skelton Warren is mixed woodland with scattered rock features on the steeper slopes to the North. The whole area has a good path network. Full leg cover is required for this event. The Open and Youth/Vet courses will cross the minor road. The Junior course is entirely on Low Moor and will not include a road crossing. There is usually a mobile cafe selling food and hot drinks in the car park
